Questions
Frequently asked questions
For questions specific to your project, email our sales team or call (224) 366-0290.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We build everything from a single prototype to full production runs.
What files do I need for a quote?
For a firm quote, send Gerber files, a BOM, and PCB specifications. For a ballpark estimate, a description of the board size, layer count, and approximate component count is enough.
What are your lead times?
Standard production lead time is 4–5 weeks and is confirmed with your quote. Quick-turn prototypes typically ship within 3–5 business days, and expedited production is available on request.
Do you support lead-free and leaded assembly?
Yes. Lead-free (RoHS-compliant) and leaded assemblies run with separate paste profiles, ovens, and process controls.
Can you build ITAR-controlled assemblies?
Yes. We are ITAR registered. Controlled work remains in our Addison, Illinois, facility and is documented in accordance with ITAR requirements.
What happens when I move from prototype to production?
Build documentation, DFM notes, and inspection records carry forward. Production runs on the same line, so no requalification is needed unless the design changes significantly.
